Sweet!
Did you notice if they had any other flavors in stock?
I'd LOVE to get hold of some of their Lime flavor.

6 diferent flavours I believe, although 1 or 2 of those could have been Hair Tonic. PM me with details and I can hook you up sometime.

+ 1 on the Iced Lime. I sense a group buy in the making.
What are all the flavors (Heh http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=21264) that they come in?

Norm, I've been checking on this and thinking about it, and IF I do host a group buy, as a guesstimate only right now, I doubt of 2 bottles of the stuff would come to $30 US shipped USPS Priority.

Where do you get that stuff? Haven't seen it anywhere.
NVM-- saw the other thread.... ALTHOUGH, I still would like to know a domestic distributor if anyone knows of one. Thanks.

I don't think there is one in the US right now - which is why we all want to find another easy way to purchase some.

I've thought about this, asked a couple of the Moderators, and the concensus is that it would be "successful" beyond anything I had imagined. One estimate was 200 bottles of the stuff (and it may go higher than that).
Suffice it to say I am not prepared to "smuggle" 200 bottles of an alcohol based product across the US Border. I do have a few promises out there for the product line and will fill in on those, but basically, any future dealings I have with this stuff will be "trade bait" of a couple of bottles a week, or every couple of weeks, depends on how often I'm in Detroit.

I can just see the "Mounties" chasing you down as a bootlegger, popping open your truck, opening up the cases to find.....aftershave?
I'm sure it would be successful - all products not available in the US get a lot of attention, combine that with a cheap price tag and I'm sure many people would be in for 1, 2, 3, 4 bottles. I agree with you though, too much work for one person.
I wonder if Charles or someone would be willing to start selling the products again - or can vendors just do a one time only group buy as well?
BTW, does anyone have an official list of all the a/s products from Booster?
I've seen posts with thoughts on what they offer, but is there a true list anywhere?
Thanks

LOL, ain't the Mounties I'm worried about. It's the Border Guards between here and Detroit!!
I have to go to my supplier tomorrow or Saturday to get some, so I'm going to check if they have a list. I know I saw maybe 6 Booster products there Monday morning, but I do seem to recall at least one of 'em being Hair Tonic.
I'll post their list if I can find out exactly what it is.

This is great stuff and for once we in Canada have something our southern neighbours lust after along with Frasers shaving cream. Eat your hearts out fellas I've got enough of this stuff to bathe in... now there's a thought.

Flavours off the top of my head...
Polar Ice
Lime
Bay Rum
...
Well, that's all I remember. If I'm around there on the weekend, I'll see if I can get a full list.

Add Lilac to the list. My favourites in priority are: Polar Ice, Lilac and Bay Rum. I find the Bay Rum different to Pinaud Bay Rum, Dominica Bay Rum and Royall Bay Rhum; to me it's more of a "mixed spice" scent, but I like it anyway.
Isn't there an Oakmoss type flavor?

This is something I would like to try! If there ever happened to be a group buy, I would be in for at least 3.
Polar Ice
Iced Lime
Lilac?

Well, here's what I got today at the supplier. I asked the "flavours" available of Booster Products, and he said that "these" are the 5 he carries. he did not say whether or not there were any more made. I also saw a few hair tonics there, both by Pinaud and Booster:

As you see in reply to inquiries, there's no Oakmoss, but there's Mosswood (and it's very nice smelling). I don't know of any Bay Rum. The Oriental Spice may be my favourite of the bunch.

Good looking haul. I picked up a bottle of Booster Island Bay Rum at the Dundas & Bay TBS about a month ago. I find all 3 Booster ASs I use (Polar Ice Lilac and Island Bay Rum) to be excellent products and very well priced. It's just too bad they are not more readily available; another case, as is Frasers shaving cream, of the Canadian reluctance to blow their own horn.

OK, so this list looks like this:
Polar Ice
Iced Lime
Island Bayrum
Oriental Spice
Lilac
Mosswood
Looks like some nice ones....thanks again B&B

Hi, please expand upon this comment. Is it an Old Spice/Royall Spyce-ish scent or something different, etc? I'm always interested in new scents. :)

Royall Spyce I've never heard of, so I can't comment.
It does smell vaugely similar undertones to Old Spice Original, but different overall with a milder scent (I find OS quite strong).
Please note I hate describing scents to someone as I do not profess to have either a good sense of smell or taste, and there are actually some scents I can't pick up, like skunk for instance. And that's no joke, I can not smell skunk, but I can pick off the scent of a Curry from 100 yards.

Jim, thank you for your reply in any case. :)
There was a "Sage" available at Absolute Beauty in Windsor when I was there this week also.
