Hey all. I think my technique may be off, but I'm having trouble getting Saint Charles avacado cream to lather correctly. The lather I get is fluffy, but runny and it dries up on me a minute or so after application. I probably add about a teaspoon of water to the bowl and stir it around for several minutes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They say the trick with SCS is a higher cream:water ratio, so you may be adding too much water. I've always felt the cream dries up a bit earlier than it should, regardless of the ratio, though. Best of luck.

You actually need more water than what you would add to a 'normal' cream to get a workable lather when using any SCS cream.

See this thread for some hints with SCS...

The impression I get is that SCS creams are a little harder to lather up 'just right', but the payoff is worth it!

These are the instructions I received from Sue. They worked perfectly! :001_wub:
EDIT: My mistake. These were from Colleen for her Highlander SC. To quote Roseann Roseanadana "Never Mind".

I usually cheat with a dab of KMF unscented to get things going.
