Now that I am an devotee of Feathers, where is the best place to get them? Any Canadians care to share their sources? I am in the Toronto/GTA area, if that matters. I suspect on EBay, but which source? dj_pauldog seems to have the best prices:

Anyone (Canadian) order from him? How was the service? Are there any better options?

Is it just me, or they don't ship to Canada?? When I go to the ordering page, "Country" drop down only has "United States" and "Puerto Rico"... bizarre...

Actually, their "Policies" page states at top "No International Orders"... too bad, not a bad deal...

If you contact Pauldog over at shavemyface.com I think you get a better deal than his eBay prices. He ships to the UK very reasonably so Canada should be no problem.

Ah, cool, didn't occur to me that an EBayer would be on the boards... sometimes the brain just doesn't click. :biggrin1: Contacted.

The Feather blades - $1.50 per 5-pack, $2.75 per 10-pack plus shipping:

In the USA, shipping is a flat $2. Since the new postal rates came out in May 2007, the overseas rates changed. But for small quantities, shipping to Canada is also $2.

The Feather Portable (all metal) DE razor - $6.50 plus shipping:

I'm out on the Canadian west coast. I ordered the portable feather razor and a 10 pack of blades. Took 2 weeks to arrive, customs got their mittens on it.

Other than that no problems.

Pauldog is the way to go.

This is an old thread... I have since order from Pauldog. Just waiting for the shipment now. Can't beat Paul's prices... starting to wonder if I should have ordered 100 blades from the start, rather than just a piddly 50...

The price and availability of the blades has changed - I can't get 5-packs and 10-packs, but I discovered a source for cartons of 250 Feather blades marked slightly differently:
