Can anyone tell me the exact material for these razors?

34C/37c
1904
38c/39c
33c

Im wandering if any are made from Brass.

An inexpensive pot metal called Zamak, an alloy of zinc, aluminum and copper.

No brass whatsoever in a Merkur...

Very interesting, I was not aware that no brass was used in Merkur. Makes since just didn't know. Thanks!

The heads are cast from Zamak, then plated (bare Zamak is butt-ugly, and corrodes quickly). I'm not sure what the handles are made of, though.

Yeah, I was aware of the heads. I have heard that the HD had brass in the handle. Not sure or confirmed thought. I own a 1904 and Im pretty sure it is zamac but not 100%. If I ever break one of the Merkurs, I will take a hack saw to various parts of it to check and confirm.
