My Simpson Chubby 2 Best Badger and Wee Scot came in today! As promised, here are some pictures. They aren't perfect, but I was in a hurry and it was the best I could do. I actually laughed out loud and said "You've got to be kidding me!" when I opened the Wee Scot. It's so tiny! The Chubby 2 was bigger than expected, which is sort of what I expected, if that makes any sense. So, without further adieu...
The Wee Scot!

Fantastic pics for fantastic brushes, mate! Now you "need" an in-between sized Simpson brush... :whistling:

Haha! My SBAD is bad enough without encouragement! My next will probably be something in 2 band. That Emperor has been calling my name since I saw it in Joel's straight razor video. It'll be a while, though. I have way too many things to test out and review at the moment. If only my beard grew faster...
And thanks for the compliments on the pics, everyone! If I hadn't been in such a rush I could've done better, but given the time constraints I think they came out pretty good! I've noticed that I really like to see pictures of what folks are talking about on the forums, so I will always try to post pictures if possible. I plan to add some bloom pictures as well. If you want to see anything in particular about these two brushes, just ask and I'll do my best to get you a pic!

Nicely done. Enjoy those brushes.
For your next brush have you given any thought to the Fifty Series?

Wow you must either be a fantastic Photoshop artist or have insane balancing skills. Please tell more about how this image was created.
Love all the pics. :001_smile

I know it looks like I'm bending the laws of physics in this photo, but I promise you it's not a Photoshop as I don't own any Photoshop software. All post processing was basic and done through Picasa. The Wee Scot really can hold a Chubby 2! I didn't think it could do it either, but when I tried it and it worked, I knew I had to post a photo! (mind you, this was done with both brand new and straight out of the box. I'm not sure if it will work after they've bloomed)

That is really impressive and says a lot about the density of such a small brush!

great choices and pics. Let us know what you think once they get some use. I picked up a Wee Scot myself a few weeks back and it's a great little brush. It's always surprising how much lather it holds.

Certainly! I've used both the Chubby 2 Best and the Wee Scot one time each (face lathered). MWF was the soap I used.

The Scot can still support the Chubby 2, but it did fall off the first time I set it up there.
