Proraso Red - To Use or Not To Use?

I have two NOS tubes of genuine Proraso Red just sitting there staring at me every morning when I go to shave. I'm not sure if I have the heart to crack them open and use them.

What would you do? Please help.

I second this sentiment. They are never going to be worth much money, and will go to waste just sitting there. Enjoy it while you can.

Don't do it. You will never forgive yourself. I will make you a deal! Send them to me. I will open them. If I find the cream is dried up, I will empty the tubes and mail them back to you. And, I won't charge you a penny more then shipping, handling, storage and disposal fees. And taxes.

Use them. Creams will not last as long as soaps, so use and enjoy! :thumbup:

The biggest difference is that Proraso Red is no longer produced and very difficult to find.

Didn't realize it was unavailable - saw some on a shelf in a shop in Hungary last February. Not sure how many were there - just remember picking it up and looking at it, wondering if it was the same as the green I get back home.

That may become a collectors item. If you are a collector, keep it. You probably didn't pay much for it. I saw someone on another forum try to scalp it for $40 a tube.
