25.00 Black handled Gillette super adjustable is date marked O2 (1969). It is in great condition. Everything locks up tight, it clicks through all nine adjustments and the finish is great with no brassing at all. The black paint of the handle is 99%and the number 7 is the only number suffering any paint loss on the adjuster.SOLD

22.00 Short handled Gillette super adjustable is date marked J3 (1964) and is in pretty good condition. Mechanically it is perfect but there is some brassing on the side of the head and the handle is a dull siver rather than bright. 99% of the paint is still present in the numbers on the adjuster. SALE PENDING

25.00 The Chris Johnson straight has a 11/16 wide blade with a round point. Very hollow grind, 9 or 10 on henckel chart. Scales are black plastic and pobably not original. Has jimping on top and bottom. The logo is acid etched rather than stamped and it says Sheffield, England so it was made later than 1890 but probably before WWI. SOLD

45.00 Dubl Duck special No. 1. The Razor has been repinned at the blade and the middle pin (not by me). The yellow scales have the dubl duck logo on them. The blade doesn't close perfectly so care has to be taken when closing the blade. It has a number engraved on the tang so it most likely came out of someones collection. SOLD

25.00 Quaker City Cutlery 1886-1935. Made in Germany. Bamboo patterned plastic scales. 11/16 square point hollow ground blade with jimping on bottom. Blade has some water spotting and black spots but these do not affect the edge. I doesnt like to close centered so care should be taken when closing it.

50.00 Japanese style straight. 13/16 frameback blade. Has Japanese characters stamped on front and back of blade. Some water spotting on blade. There is a tiny "bug bite" up by the pivot. Black plastic scales inlaid with more Japanes characters. SOLD

20.00 Joseph Elliot's Best Silver Steel. This blade is petty old (1850's or older). The 4/8 blade is marked "double concave". The scales are made from aboyna by me. They are nothing spectacular, I was just messing around trying to make some scales and not use a wedge. Blade closes dead center and is nice and tight. SOLD

All the blades are free of nicks or cracks and will come freshly honed off my coti and freshly stropped.

All prices include shipping to USA. International will be more. PM me if you have any questions

50.00 Geroge Wostenholm & Son's Celebrated IXL Razor Washington Works Sheffield. The 7/8+ blade started out as a bigger square point but I broke it accidentally so it became a round point shorty. Its measures 2 3/4 inches from shoulder to point. The blade does have some very light pitting throughout but none of it is deep enough to affect the edge. The scales are made of myrtle burl and the wedge is red box elder. The washers are triple stacked to kind of give it the "bullseye" washer look. It is a shorty technically but it still is a large razor. SOLD

15.00 One puck of Mitchells Wool Fat soap. I love this stuff. SOLD

All the blades are free of nicks or cracks and will come freshly honed off my coti and freshly stropped.

not a big deal, but the "22.00 Short handled Gillette super adjustable" is usually referred to as a Slim Adjustable, or just Slim.

Nice price for the Super Adjustable, one of my favorite razors of all time. :thumbup1:

I would like the 15.00 puck of Mitchell's Wool Fat soap. I ordered some this morning from
a soap company in Kent, England. It is traveling by ground post so I wonder what route it will take?
Those straights sure are beautiful. Last night I had my best shave ever (after 2 years into it) with a President that I bought from a kind gent here and an Iridium Super installed.
I used Tabac and a tiny tab of KMF (seems to stop potential weepers) and my modest EverReady 400 made it all happen.
With that said, could you recommend one of these beauties to SE user wannabe?
Thank you kindly,
Fuzzy
