I was look at classicshaving.com the other day and noticed a Merkur TTO
http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/522941/4514238.htm
Anyone give it a try? How does it compare to the Gillette TTO's?
Just curious.

Paul...I don't think that is a Merkur TTO but maybe a Feather brand? Someone correct me please. The "vignette" pic of the TTO showing the silo doors opening is ....suspect....this looks like one of those weird bent Gillettes that doesn't quite open the doors all of the way...I'd pass if it were me...YMMV....

Indeed. Definitely a Parker.
Now, why Merkur still hasn't introduced a fixed head TTO is a good question, though....

Yea, my mistake..in a sea of Murker's, I thought it was one. I'll probably pass on this too...would be hard to beat a nice Gillette I bet.
