PSO launch delay

For various reasons, Benton Clay has had to delay the launch of the PSO announced several weeks ago. It will not be available for sale for some time yet; however, the winners of the guessing game thread will still receive their free product. I apologize for the long wait. I certainly underestimated what it would take to get product of this nature off the ground.

Someone PM'd me and wanted to know what the issues were. That's a legitimate question.

The main issue is that, while 82% of the trial group liked the PSO better than their existing one, a year had elapsed since the initial testing, and when I tried it just prior to launch I myself was no longer personally satisfied with it. The viscosity of one of the ingredients, when I resourced it in bulk, had changed slightly from that of the initial formulation. And perhaps improvements in my shaving technique also led to that impression.

That, coupled with some problem-solving needed re: packaging, and government paperwork requirements.

In short it was okay but not perfect. It's a really cool product and it deserves to be just right. I have now made adjustments but it will now need to go through another cycle of testing.

So the trial bottles will still be sent, but with the understanding that it's not (yet!) a market-ready product.
