I had a timely reminder last night about 1 of those little tidbits I have picked up since lurking here. I can`t remember who I`m about to quote or misquote but here goes.
"if you think that your blade maybe passed it, change it."
Forgot this beauty last night, could not remember whether my blade was 3-4 shaves old and began to shave, things not going as well as they could but did he stop? No way, pressed on with perhaps the slightest increase in pressure and buffed away at the usual tough spots. Rewarded for my perserverance with a couple of fantastic pathches of razor burn around the chin. Luckily I can go without a shave tonight.......... I used to hate shaving but I am struggling to keep myself away from the sink tonight.

Lesson learned. And you know how good your next shave will be, right?

Well and truly learned. Shaved today with a new Feather and even the raw areas are 100%.

I am in the exact same boat! Should have traded out my feather last night as I was 3 shaves in(@ 4 passes per shave) I made the rookie move of going back to my neck for a fifth and sixth pass for BSS...dumb move. I'm going to try and hold out till Friday night.
