I was out rummaging through the antique shop in search of something to feed my burgeoning RAD when I came across this beauty for $10.00. I honestly don't know a whole lot about toggles, other than that I have heard they are rare. I believe from the date code that this one was made in 1958. I apologize for not having a picture of the inside of the silo doors. There is some minor brassing on the doors, and the number 9 has a little wear as well. I don't know if there was plating on the adjustment band or not, but that appears to be a little brassed as well. Also, the safety bar on one side (I tried to take a picture of it) is bent slightly up. I don't know if this is fixable or not. Hopefully it is. I intend to shave with this and get some good shaves too! :w00t:

In the third picture it doesn't look like the door and the blade guard are squared up. Is that just the photo?

If you don't want to keep it you'll find buyers easily and the prices for these things on Ebay have been insane recently.

Congrats - this was a sweet find no matter what you do.

Use it in good health.

Yeah, I tried to include that on purpose. The doors seem to close perfectly, it's just that the safety bar seems bent down on that side? Does anyone know if there is a way to fix it? I wonder if Razor Emporium's service would do anything about it... :001_smile They could replate the whole thing while they're at it and make it look reeeeeeal purdy! :biggrin1:

But the Fatboy was in rough shape and you have a rare toggle, best get someone that knows what they are doing look at it...
