After seeing multiple posts from certain gents repeatedly using & praising Ormonde Jayne Man (*cough*Henry*cough*), I thought, that's it. I need to check this stuff out for myself.
Alas, after fruitless visits to Saks (Ormonde-what? Huh?), Bergdorf's (Or-man June? Can you say that again, please?) & Barney's (Ormonde Jayne? No, I think they're Europe-only), I found out that they're exclusively London-based. The only way to sample their fragrances is either at their store or via the sampler pack from their website.
Alternatively, you can also order samples from TPC. However, the cost of 5-6 1.5ml samples in glass atomizers (~$52) was very close to the cost of the entire sampler kit (£44/$74). Since the sampler kit contains 2ml atomizers of all 12 of their fragrances, that seemed to be the best deal. I realize most of their frags are for women but that's ok. I'm curious to sniff those too, even if I don't plan to wear them.
Anyway, I figured I'd throw this info out there in case any of you guys are curious about this company. Will post my impressions once I receive the goods. :thumbup1:
