Bought this Waterville a while back off of B/S/T forum. Didn't really care all that much for the scales. I sent it out to Brian @ A Razors Tale for some custom work.

All I did was pick out the color of the scales, the rest I left up to Brian. I think it turned out great.

Can't wait to get it back and give it a honing and a test run.

The other Waterville I have has the same type of tail. Different than any of the other razors I have or had.

What'd the original scales look like?

I like the new scales much better. Good choice for a really nice razor.

Thanks, me too. I'm not real sure they were original to the blade. The pin seemed to fit a bit off when I took it a part.

A little off in what sense?

The pins were not cleanly peened. Looks liked the were cut off and then just hammered down. You could still see the cut marks on top the pins. Also the holes for the pins were not straight.

Not that any of that matters now.
