it's true and it was magnificently luxurious... and i didn't have to manipulate the knot at all. granted it was with cream, not soap, but i'll give a soap a go tonight...
A truly small bit of C&E sandalwood cream (i really didn't think it was going to be nearly enough) and in just about the same time i have with other smaller brushes i had a great lather and while the knot was a bit moppier than others (expected of course), it was great, dense lather. I would have had plenty of lather for at least 4 passes and for some reason the brush didn't act like a lather hog.. maybe it was the density as compared to more dense knot...
i was expecting a totally different experience and pleasantly surprised as while i love many characteristics of this brush I have been on the fence about it. this experience just intensified my internal conflict on what type of brush i enjoy..
