Yes, you know the one. This has already had a lot of attention in the General Shaving Forum. I bought this set on a bit of a spur of the moment. I've been debating what to do with it, and it doesn't really fit into my collection. Plus, I've developed a terrible hankering for brits, so it would be nice to free up some shaving related equity, especially considering I've bought a lot of stuff recently from someone here who is selling off their collection.

I'm asking $1900, shipped CONUS. Keep in mind that the paypal fees and insured shipping for something of this value is ~$100 alone. I honestly think its worth more than that from a collectability standpoint , but obviously thats a small market. If you are willing to pay via some method other than paypal, I can offer a bit of a discount, PM me and we will talk. NOS slims have sold for $300 a piece, and I have already had a couple offers to break up the set. I really don't want to do that, and I'd like to keep it in the B&B community, but I may have to. I am willing to ship international. But this gets very expensive very quickly once you start dealing with insurance.

If you have any British Gillettes or a very special brush for trade, or something of abnormal rarity, I may be interested, and that can be worked out as credit. But I am picky and have a lot of stuff already.

I have already spoken with a moderator about this set, and anyone who is serious about this already knows what it is. While discussion of prices is encouraged on the BST, comparing a case of NOS slims, which as far as I know has never been seen since production, to an excellent slim picked up for $15 or given to you by your aunt Getrude isn't helpful.

Imagine if this was a box of NOS Fatboys. It would have been gone already and for about $6000.00 or more :001_smile

You'll never see something like this again.
The price is steep, but not unreasonable.
Good Luck with the sale :thumbup1:

At today's market the price is high, you should hold it til the economy gets better, even if it's a year wait it's worth it. you may even sell it for 3 g's here to us or ebay at higher price. The economy is so bad that people are giving away their mansions and cars because they can't make payment. That's just my 2 cents.
