Got this as a throw in with a brush from Ebay. It's 3.25" high. I guess it's a brush stand but all the one's like it that I've seen have a closed back. Wondered if anyone knew what exactly would fit it? Is it made for a specific brush? Also is there a way to even out the color? It has dark spots and was curious if those can be removed? Do you think the 400N would match/fit it?

It looks like a very nice vintage two-tone bakelite/catalin Rubberset with its accompanying stand.

The Rubberset is a brush I was thinking about getting and was wondering if it would fit the stand. I don't know what brand the stand is or what is made to fit it.

My guess is probably not. Those stands almost always have a matching brush that goes along with it, and if the Rubberset is not its pair, it may not fit.

The good news is you can find the brushes a lot of times without the stand. Since you already have the stand, you're halfway there!

OK, but since I don't know what brand the stand is I'm not really sure what brush to look for. Any suggestions?
