I happened to be on B&B early one morning and saw a thread from Flavio (formerly SSpeedy) offering a brand new "Fatip" Italian DE razor to the first post in his thread. I was lucky enough to jump on it and received the razor today.

Very nice! It is very comparable to my Merkur HD in weight and quality with the addition of an open comb. Very eager to try it. He also threw in fifteen Feather blades (which I have never tried before).

So, how does it compare to the Merkur HD's closed comb?
