Nothing special here. Just a pretty cheap find, $3.50.
I'm a fan of heavy razors. I don't know about using this one. How do they shave?

Dang, it looks brand new. What a deal. You'll find it a good, mild razor.

Nice Score I use one for travel. It's pretty decent, it's not as good as the 1912 or 1924.

I've never enjoyed the handle on the Featherweight, just couldn't get comfortable with it.

Great shape, wonderful score. A featherweight was my first SE a great no thought mild razor. As others said, great for travel.

Great little razor! It's (obviously) very light, but if you rest your pointer finger on the back of the head, I find it gives just the right weight to the head. Works like a charm everytime.

That's in great shape! Load it up and use it. I'm bringing one to my brother this weekend; he has been using a superspeed I gave him and wants to "graduate" to the single edge world. I told him there are SE's that some guys swear by, and other SE's that guys swear AT. He asked me to be merciful and not bring him a face-cutter, so we'll start him with the Featherweight and proceed from there. Enjoy it!

I passed on one as I found it way too light.

It gives a great shave.
I like light razors so for me it works fine.

I like it too. It's the first in my rotation and if all else fails it would probably be my daily shave, together with the 1912, the Clog Pruf, the GEM Junior "fatty" the .......if only I could have that many daily shaves!

Nice find, great price!
Nitpick-y point, but at least some original packaging shows the spelling as "Feather Weight" (two words). For example, see photos in the razor wiki, here (http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php/Featherweight).

In this order, my favortie GEMs
1: Micromatic
2: G-Bar
3: Featherweight
4: 1912
And those are 4 of my top 8 of my entire collection. That's saying something as I have a lot of razors. Use the index finger on the head trick if it feels a little light.
YMMV as always.
