I received an Esterbrook Fountain pen in the PIF: Giveaway Game in "The Score" forum. I think it is a C1010 (found a red one that look the same on ebay)

However, it did not have a cartridge or converter or whatever that particular model had.

I guess I could use this as an eye-dropper (with an o-ring to seal it) but I would rather get a converter or cartridge (I can refill a catridge with a syringe if necessary).

Know where I can get one of these? Thanks for any help.

Here are some cellphone pics, since you all like pics (it's actually a grey, the flash kinda washed it out):

Looks like a CX100 from my little research. The bad news is that Esterbrook pens apparently had a proprietary cartridge format. People who own these pens tend to refill empty cartridges, as there are no more available. Somebody on FPN mentioned that a Lamy cartridge will work, but I can't vouch for that.

I have a Lamy Nexx...I'll have to check if the ink cartridge fits, or if the Lamy converter will fit.

The part that punctures the ink cartridge on the Esterbrook is far larger than the converter for my Parker, or the standard ink cartridges (from say Private Reserve). That's the problem.

Thanks for the tip, i'll look into it.
