Well after reading the boards for a while now, I went and got my self a Gillette “slim” Adjustable off of e-bay for $10. I reconditioned it this weekend using the Razor cleaning and restoration Guide in the Badger & Blade ShaveWiki. The L1 Adjustable was pretty sorry looking when it came but after I soaked, scrubbed, sanitized, polished and oiled it, it looks almost as good as new. [picture attached] I am looking forward to my first wet shave tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Hi there, that slim looks great. Start low, dont be afraid of numbers 1 and 2 to start with. What blades you going with?

Welcome! My first post was a week or so ago and I just received my BBB today - no razor yet - so you're ahead of me!

Welcome to B&B, looks like you're off to a great start! A blade sampler pack can not be over emphasized.
