Perfect shave this morning, BBS. I am using just one razor this week to really give it a test. The Swedish Gillette and the SS seem to partner up pretty well.

I will have to find a new Fatboy, the one I have does not tighten properly. The silo doors want to loosen up during the shave. Not fun.

Dusted off the T&H hard soap. Wow, this stuff really gives a great shave! Also gave the first run with the Thayers Medicated Superhazel. :eek: What a cooling sensation! Has a bit of a clove scent that lingers for a bit, but this stuff is a must for all you menthol-heads out there in shaveland.

No blood during the shave, but the Amul Block told me it still wasn't a perfect shave!!:redface:

Dayum near BBS shave, only stubble is under the chin and the blade was starting to tug, so I didn't push it

That 4 pass shave method is awesome. Worked great and amazingly, absolutely no irratation. One small leaker from a previous cut that couldn't decide if it wanted to bleed or not!!!:huh:

Result: 4.4/5.0 Slant with a Derby was OK. The Derby is more forgiving but does not cut as clean as a Feather. I have adopted a technique over the last month where I use an unscented cream as a pre-lather on my face. Water + a tiny dab of cream and hand smooth it on my face. I let it sit there while I make lather and re-water it just before smoothing on my brush cream/soap of the day. Cleanup is the same way. I hand smooth the cream/soap with drips of water and keep smoothing each spot I'm going to put a razor to.

Tonight is night 4/7. Got home in the morning and played with the baby until he got tired and angry then put him to bed. Watched the start of the Monaco Grand Prix which had no exciting overtaking or accidents. Went to bed...

*A wonderful alternative in lavender creams. All of the others seem fairly similar in scent. The Vulfix breaks the mold, and although it may not seem entirely authentic, it gives a minty, heady experience.
