The black handle super speed is not for sale. I just can't make myself do it.

The Superspeed is an undated no notch. 1948 or 49 I guess. The condition is very good. $12 shipped CONUS. SOLD

The Old Gillette is beautiful, condition good, no serial or date code, usual handle cracks, $20 shipped CONUS. SOLD
The Ladies is beautiful and in excellent condition, K3 date code. $25 shipped CONUS SOLD
More photos available here (http://s202.photobucket.com/albums/aa261/bobfarvour/bobfarvour%20sale%20album/).

I also have an AOS Lemon starter set, used twice, for $12 shipped CONUS (that's the cream, pre shave oil, and a.s. balm) SOLD

And a Lucky Tiger near full, the product is at the top of the label. Along with it is some AOS Sandalwood pre shave oil. I'd have to guess that is half full. $12 shipped CONUS. The Lucky Tiger is good stuff. I'd recommend to anyone that has never tried it. SOLD

This is what I do not understand...,
I posted I would take the razor...,
I sent a PM I would take the razor...,
I asked if he would be interested in any type of trade, but if not, I would still take it and send payment.

2 pm's later, he tells me it is sold.

This is where I get confused (maybe it is just this forum, I don't know).

I posted first,
sent a PM first,
agreed on the price,
promised to send payment as soon as he sent a pm with the payment info.
The payment info is- "I have sold it".

I guess I was raised differently than some.
I was taught that if you are working on a deal with someone and another person comes up and is interested, the second person waits until the first person in line either buy's the item or declines or walks off. The "first come, first serve" generation I guess you could call it.
Now everything seems like it is a "free for all" and no pride, honesty, conscience, etc. It is all about the dollar, the first dollar to fly.
I guess I am too old and remember when your word meant something, when a person selling something and another makes an offer of what the asking price was actually meant something, it was like a handshake and your word. A person was only as good as his word and you can tell a lot about someone by how they presented themselves and what their word meant to them.
I can still remember the days when fair was fair, what was right was right, there was a right way and a wrong way to do business as well as treat folks and people not only did what was right, backed up their word, but most people did.

I just don't get it..., the only thing that matters now is the dollar and who can grab one faster. I agree to pay the asking price, leave the room for a few minutes, come back and am told- "sorry, it is now sold".

I thought they put the kibosh on the "pm sent" posts?

I thought they put the kibosh on the "pm sent" posts?

That's what I thought too. But it sure seems there have been a lot of "pm sent" posts lately.

Sir I will not engage in a flame war with you here on this message board.
The razor was sold to the first person that offered me MONEY for it.
I politely told you I was not interested in trades. I was polite and cordial with you from start to finish. You didn't get the razor, and I'm sorry. Your PM offering a check in the mail came after someone elses that was ready to pay via pay pal. I would not have accepted your offer of a check anyway after you told me you had NO INCOME. Again I'm sorry you didn't get the razor you wanted, I've been nothing but polite with you, enough is enough.
My apologies to the community for this drama.

Moderators, please close this thread. All items are sold and shipped. Thank you.
