An adjustable would be my first suggestion, you can find out what you really want from an aggressive or mild razor.

Depends on cost really..
I would say a Gillette Slim or Super would be the most affordable, the much heralded fatboy then all the way up to some gold plated beauties.
I have a super adjustable (short) that I just bought off of here and so far its proven to be a great razor. Being able to dial the aggressiveness has been a real help with technique. Below is what Gillette Super Adjustable, short version looks like.

As Ken said, try an adjustable. I am very happy with my Slim. If you are considering another razor, in addition to an adjustable, do what I did.
I used the "aggressiveness" of the adjustment setting on my Slim to help me gauge which non-adjustable razor(s) I might like. Based on the Shave Wiki article, Here, (http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php/Double-Edged_Safety_Razors_Ranked_by_Aggressiveness) I was able to determine that the EJ DE89 had about the same blade exposure as a Slim set on 4 to 5. Since I usually set my Slim at 5, I bought the EJ. Although, to me, it feels a little more aggressive than a 5 does on my Slim, I still really like the EJ.

I've got a 90R and it's a pretty aggressive razor. I did a quick eyeball check and the Slim and Fat Boy both set on nine do appear to provide a little more space between the bar and blade.
Alternatively, maybe try an old open comb razor. They aren't necessarily more aggressive, but they seem to provide good blade exposure and similar 'feel' of aggressiveness (to me anyway).

I'd consider a Gillette open comb with a New Improved head. There are several, including the New Standard, Tuckaway, Bostonian and others.

The Slim is one of the best all around razors and is one of my favorites. You can get them at a reasonable price and the head is not too big and the adjustment allows you to use different blades by the adjustability. :thumbup1:
