I have 4 badger brushes.

and my new favorite...dare i say it....is a Boar Brush!!!!

I got my Semogue 1305 yesterday and without even properly breaking it in i used it with my MWF and it was amazing.

Great for face lathering...great backbone.....not prickily at all.

I can't believe i'm saying so.....but this is my new favorite brush.

I got my 1305 about 5 weeks ago, and it quickly jumped to the #1 spot in my brush rotation.

I'm now breaking in a Semogue B&B Custom Boar, it should be ready for its first shave this weekend.

When I first started using my 1305, I find that I exclusively face-lather with it ... didn't plan it that way, but that's how it worked out, because it feels so good!

And as an added bonus, I'm generating much better lather now ... I wasn't making BAD lather with badger and bowl, but I see now that I could have been doing much better over the last three years.

Semogue are my favourite boars and I particularly enjoy using them with my beloved Italian soft soaps! :thumbup:

Waited a good while for my 1305 to get here from Ireland but it is a fantastic brush. stiff enough bristles with soft tops getting better and better!

I'm still trying to figure mine out. I haven't been able to make great lather with it yet, although I've only used it a handfull of times. I'm reserving any judgement until I use it more.
