I have a Porter pure badger brush, and I love a single bristle every couple uses. Is that normal? Otherwise it's in great condition.

Shedding a few hairs when a brush is new is normal ... if it continues doing it after the first week, then you should contact the vendor and ask for a replacement.

I bought it used, but it looked new to me (but it's my first brush, so I don't exactly have a trained eye).
I went with "bristles" because I wasn't sure if hairs or fur was more appropriate. :P
