I can not believe I spent this on this Tech. I am going to try and recover my losses. Once I get my finances back in order I may have to PIF it.

Well the blade wasn't included, probably why it went so cheaply.

I've heard Gillette gives their razors away to make money later on the blades. I'm sure that's what happened this time too!

I think it would have gone for more if he had mentioned that you are supposed to pat it off to dry it.

If you keep that up you'll be broke before you know it!

Really, how could anyone turn down a deal like that?
A great shaver for a great price.

I love to PIF Techs, I had ran out of them. Thanks to some good buys on Ebay and some great B&B members my stock is repleneshing. Soon I will be able to start making Newbies happy again.

I do keep an early Fat Handle in my rotation. It is mild but still an awesome shave.

You mean that thing you sent him?

I also like scouring the last minute auctions. Must say never got anything as low as that. My personal best was 1.99 with 2 shipping.

It's a trap!

Sure, just under a buck, but there's shipping, cleaning supplies, ordering the blade sampler to see if it "clicks" with a certain blade, the falling in love with it despite the cosmetic faults, the obsessing over the cosmetic faults, the bill for re-plating with gold and the cost of shipping it to be re-plated, the regret at having altered an original, the vow to find a pristine original new-in-the-box, the expense of purchasing a NIB example and having it shipped, the nagging idea that a silver one would make a complete mini-set, the cost of the NIB silver fat handle Tech and having it shipped, the idea that it would be nice to have a shaver grade silver fat handle, the cost of acquiring that one, the dream in the middle of the night of how great it would look with one of Cooncat Bob's handles....

not that I've ever done anything like that, mind you.

 You mock, yet let he who is without RAD be the first to judge :biggrin1:
