A member has requested the *OTD thread be monthly as opposed to a continuous thread. This need hadn't occurred to me but I'm happy to accommodate member requests. I like to include the members who participate in TBL in additions/changes to the forum through polls and opinion threads, because as I see it, B&B members should have the opportunity to have an impact on the forums development. If others would like to see changes made to the *OTD threads in significant numbers Jim and I will be happy to accommodate you.

I find it very difficult to search through rotating OTD threads (such as the ShaveOTD) to find when you last had something. The ShengOTD thread in the Cafe is a wonderful example of a long-term high-post thread that remains relevant and reference-able.

Good point. But, did you know that on the main forum page you can click "search this forum" then "advanced search" then in "keyword" put in the tobacco you are looking for and then in "author" put in your user name and it will bring that post right up for you?
Cheers!

Happy "as is"; see no need for a change.

I'm quite familiar with searching. It is still much easier to deal with a single thread.

Looks like we'll be keeping things as they are. Thanks to those who participated, and as always feel free to PM me with suggestions on what we can do keep The Brown Leaf a great place to be.
