ETA: FIXED!
Noticed this started on YouTube last night. The video window is completely dark. I can't even right click on it nothing happens.
Works OK in Firefox.
I just installed Flash Player 10.2 and the problem persists. Again in Firefox everything works OK (I verified that it's using the new version of Flash which it is).
I also rebooted to no avail.
Anyone?

What browser isn't it working in? I generally use Firefox on Mac anyway.

If flash is working in firefox but not safari (I assume that's the browser it isn't working in) then it seems safe to say that problem is likely with safari. So I'd try running system updater to make sure you have the latest version of safari (though the last update was in like nov., so you should). If it still doesn't work then try the "Reset Safari" option under the file menu. If that still doesn't fix it then you may need to uninstall the whole program and install it anew. Or, you know, just dump safari entirely and only use firefox and chrome. That's what I did on my mac and have been very happy.

Safari has it's problems sure.
I use firefox like most people and I would suggest the same to anyone.
I'm using chrome on a PC right now as I write this and I don't like it one bit.
But you see once again, YMMV.
Have you done any updates?
Maybe visit the Adobe site and see what they say about flash and Safari

Oops, sorry. It's not working on SAFARI. This just started last night. I could, however, get YouTube videos embedded on other sites to play but not very well (they kept buffering).
Come to think of it I just reset Safari a couple of days ago. I've already done a sofware update for OS X. None right now.
This has happened before and as I recall the "fix" was when Safari got an update.

I run mostly Chrome with a little Firefox and a very little Safari and I have noticed the same Flash issue on all three. It normally occurs when the file is embedded as a link to Youtube. When I go directly to the site the problem does not occur.

I used to have all sorts of browsers on my Mac (Opera, Camino) but I found them redundant.
Maybe I'll reinstall Chrome.

If your problem is with youtube you may actually have an issue with HTML5 rather than flash. I believe that most youtube videos are now played with HTML5 instead of flash.
