So several AD's have hit all at once, and I've been going on a bit of a spending spree this month, especially for software. But more to the point does anyone know of a Canadian based retailer who sells Arko shave sticks? Amazon will send one to me for $12 shipped, but that seems to be a little outrageous for a product that retails for lie $3

Ethnic Turkish stores/grocers often have them. You used to be able to buy a case for cheap on Amazon though.

If you ever visit Montreal, there is a turkish grocer called marché Istanbul that sells them for one dollar each stick. yeah, that's far from Antigonish I know............

Simpson, you know what? PM me your address.. I'll PIF you a stick. I don't think Canada post will hit me too hard for a 75 gram item.

I have no idea about Canada. But as someone who lives in Japan, I can say that, if you really know what you like, order a bunch. If you know you like Arko, order a box of 12 from Amazon and take the hit for shipping. Get what you want and get a bunch of it. Don't fiddle around with a little of this and a little of that. Shipping will kill you. Find it. Get in. Get out.

You're quite welcome! I just stuffed the enveloppe. I have to go to the pharmacy tomorrow. If the postal counter is open, you'll probably get it before next friday.

Wow... viva Canada. I just got back from the post office and it seems it would cost close to 11 dollars to ship a 99 cent item to Simpson, who is also in a eastern canadian province. It's kind of appaling when you can order the same item from Turkey for less than 3 dollars includiung shipping.

Where do you Canadian badgers get your Arko sticks. Any sites or ebay vendors you trust? I am looking everywhere and all I can find is a few ebay vendors. Thanks!!

I ordered some on ebay for like $4 shipped but so far it's been 3 weeks and I still don't have it. Coming from Turkey I think.

Just go ahead and place an order through one of our forum vendors, I placed a refill order this morning with John....WCS and BullGoose both have Arko if I'm not mistaken...do most of my refill orders through those guys...fantastic service and never had an issue that wasn't dealt with right away...can't recommend enough!

Already checked. I don't see it listed. Any time I find some, they won't ship to Canada.

They won't ship Arko to Canada. Same with VDH. Something to do with not having bilingual packaging. SUCKS!! With that said, I just ordered a few from the shave den, FYI to all you Canadians.

I know there was a shop in Montreal that had them on the shelves named Marché Istanbul... http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php?title=Quebec_Shopping_and_Suppliers

Wow, that's quite a mark-up. It seems strange that that bilingual packaging law would apply to a Turkish product whose packaging is written in Turkish. Seems like it would forbid the importation of any product not made in or specifically for the French and English speaking markets. :confused1

Marche Istambul in Montreal sells them for $1 each or $10 for a box of 12

Thanks gents! Montreal is a days drive from me, so $4 and change a piece (including shipping) seems like a good price. Even if I could get the store to ship it to me, shipping alone would cost me $20. It is cheaper to buy stuff in the US and have it shipped then the cost of shipping alone if I bought it here.

I ordered mine from Bullgoose. I can't see why the lack of French on the label has anything to do with it unless you are looking to re-sell it in Canada.
