While driving through Atlantic City I noticed an area of two or three blocks where there are several small ethnic grocery shops. I parked my car and started popping in and out of each little store. Here is what I found:

I acquired a bottle of Castle Forbes Lime Balm recently and really enjoyed it so I purchased this T&H Limes Cream from member Zaniix ( Chris) at SMF. I will try it tomorrow with one of my new brushes and of course the SLANT as it is the razor of the week for me. Thanks Chris!

I bought two Gillette razors on Saturday from a dusty, cluttered antique shop. One is a brass razor, open comb and thick with tarnish and gunk. The other is a SS. Both cleaned up well, particularly the brass one. It took a lot of elbow grease and Maas, but the results were worth it. I can't tell the age exactly, but I think it is from the 1920's. I am also not sure of the age the SS, because there is no date code on it.
I am up to 10 razors now and I have to figure out a way to display them.
When I got back in town
Very cool razor for the Price very well done Beautiful Spine

I just came home from a week of vacation in Hawaii. While I was there I scored the following from a local drugstore and the Kmart on the island.
7 packs of "Longs drugstore" injector Cartridges - Tried them while I was there and they're the same as the blades found at CVS. But instead of $4.50/11 pack they were only $2.59/Pack!
2 packs of Wilkinson sword DE blades. Haven't tried them before, any good? Think I paid under $3.50 for these.
7 made in Hawaii glycerine bath soaps - Assorted island scents
4 hand carved wooded bowls (no lids) - perfect size for me to melt down some of my existing soaps and pour them into. No lids, but still stackable.
1 hand carved wooden bowl with lid - Would've bought more than one, but I could get the ones w/out lids for $1.50 but the same bowl w/lid was $6.
I'll post pics later of my finds. I also found some interesting bits of local history and wetshaving. Will also post pics of that later.

Don, that's a huge scuttle. Let us know how it works for you.
Works great Big Brush Rich soap or cream plenty big to build as much lather as you need ridges in the bowl to help the process. Everything stays nice and Hot. I have not tried it with a small brush yet I will update when I do. Build quality is excellent. The only downside is this bad boy is huge takes up a lot of real estate. and it is not cheap I do not even remember what model this is I just said whats the biggest one you have and this what I got. If you do not mind spending $100 plus on a scuttle(Shipping is a big part do to weight and size of the box to protect it) I would say this is a must have. of course YMMV but i doubt it if you can adjust to the size.

After smelling this on me, I finally realized what my grandfather's cologne was.
I recieved these yesterday from Scotto. I was extremely impressed with and am extremely grateful for the incredible care that Scotto put into packaging and shipping me these samples. My wife is excited to smell me each time I shave.  Her current favorite is T&H Limes. But the jury is still out until she smells it on my skin.

Cool brush, DJ. Where did you find it?
This was a ebay score. The brush is huge... really meant to be a display model. I measured the bloomed fan at a whopping 130mm.
Interesting. I did a quick google on Herder (the name on the brush) but didn't find anything of consequence. Have you ever run across the brand before?
