Rock guitarist Gary Moore dies (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-12377862)

Another of the greats has left us. May have to give 'Black Rose: A Rock Legend' a spin.

Holy crap. Thin Lizzy were probably the best group ever to come out of Ireland and he added alot to them. He'll be missed.

58, that is too young for such a good musician.

Horrible news. Great musician who never seemed to catch his break on this side of the pond. That man could absolutely play.

That is a shame. I really liked the more Bluesy sound he brought to Thin Lizzies music. The Black Rose was a classic.

That is so sad. Thanks for posting, I had missed it completely. The man was a real player. The song that leaps to mind for me for him is Albert King's "As the Years Go Passing By." Perhaps my favorite blues tune of all time (along with about 20 others! <g>) but Gary Moore performed as well or better than anyone else, ever! Better than Albert King did.
