Hey all, Just tried a made in 1967 Gillette Super Stainless blade. Let me tell you these blades are everything I've read about.

No tugging, pulling, no weepers. For me they are every bit as good as a Feather, which I've been using for three years now. My supply is limited so I hope to find a few more.

The Super Blue blades I was trying were OK, but can't compare to this jewel of a stainless blade!:shaving:

I've been hoarding nearly 200 of these old goodies. Easily one of the best blades ever made. Puts modern blades to shame. If you find them as good as feathers, I'd stick with the feathers, as they are significantly cheaper

The Feathers are my go to blade. However, I've been on a vintage blade kick lately, and just couldn't believe the shave I got from a 44 year old blade.

This must have been the high point of DE blade technology, and it's a shame that this kind of blade can't be bought at the corner store anymore.

I will never go back to cartridges as long as a decent DE blade like these can be found somehow, someway.
