Tying badger hair knots.....HELP!!!

Does anyone have experience in this. Like how long should the badger hair be that you start out with. The companies I've written to about getting badger hair they want the length and weight. And where could I find a shaping box? Would appreciate any advice on the matter.

Its pretty easy to make your own 'shaping box'. I am trying to get 5mins to put a sheet together giving you guys a few pointers regarding knot making. There are plenty of guys on here who should be able to help you though inbetween times.
