This week I received some free Salish Sunshine samples and got to try them yesterday.

The goats milk lotion is quite nice and soothing. I've been using it both as a pre-shave and an aftershave lotion.

The shaving soap is very soft and lathers easily, and holds the lather throughout the shave. Both have what I think of as a lemony citrus scent that reminds me of some muffins my wife makes. Apparently there are orange and bergamont oils in it, so that's probably what I'm smelling. Quite pleasant.

Thank you Linda.

Dave I'm glad you are enjoying the product! By the way those are some gorgeous DE's and what an amazing case for them! :thumbup1:

Gentlemen I need your help. I have applied to go on the CBC show Dragon's Den. My audition is next month and should I be approved to move to the next stage, the taping is done in Toronto. Here is where I need your help. I will of course be promoting my shaving products as part of the overall pitch and it would be wonderful if I had a barber, or individual, who would like to shave one of the dragons. Ideally I would like 4 volunteers to take care of all the men and of course a straight has far more visual impact than a DE.

So if you would be interested, please let me know. Also if you know of a really good barber who would like to appear on national TV, I would like to hear about them too. Of course it is kinda important that the "barbers" can do a good shave on someone else without having any DNA draining out of the victims dragons.

Thanks everyone!

Truefitt and Hill.ca/ (http://www.truefittandhill.ca/) Haven't tried this one myself.

The Terminal Barbershop (http://www.terminalbarbershop.com/?p=0) Very good. I think it was Omar I got a shave from.

Monsieur (http://monsieurbarbershopandspa.com/index.html) Also very good.

Or check this thread (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=39934&highlight=toronto+shave)

It would be great if they could be shaved in an old barber's chair too. Would the show film/tape a shave at one of these barbershops, and show clips during your presentation? Or would the barber(s) have to come and be part of the presentation?

What I'm really hoping is that they will get some old barber's chairs for props for the taping - they had one on this week for a lady that wants to start a barber shop in Montreal, but she wasn't going to offer shaves....

Thank you for the links!

We are very excited to announce that our Triple Delight Solid Shaving Soap is now ready for general sale. It has just completed some rigorous testing and the final formulation has been approved by the testers.

Rich, deep lather, thick cushion, amazing glide and moisturizing properties second to none. This shaving soap is made using ingredients like Tallow, Shea, Mango, Cocoa Butters, Coconut, Castor & Apricot Kernel Oils, Lanolin, Egg (yes you read that right egg!), and silk.

This shaving soap is going to explode into rich, moisturizing lather, leaving your skin feeling like it has been pampered at a spa.

It is available as a 5 ounce puck or in a Stainless Steel Shaving Bowl - both are listed on the on-line store.

Linda - what an amazing opportunity, how very exciting for you! I may have a lead on an old school barber here in the Toronto area. I've been thinking about getting a hot towel shave from him and will let you know how it goes....

Thank you very much gents.

Also because I have been asked through PM for a clarification on the Triple Delight products. This is actually a full line of products which includes body butter, lotion, bath & body soaps and then the cream shaving soap (plastic tubs as well as stainless steel bowls) and the newest addition being the solid shaving soap available in either the stainless steel of as a refill puck.

Thank you everyone for your continued support and interest.

Dave - yes, please do let me know! Thank you for thinking of me!

Cheers
