Don't fall off the wagon for 12%! That's just an EXCUSE to buy another brush! (Full disclosure: I was on Shavemac.com for an hour yesterday crunching the numbers.)

My cart still has one in it and I hovered over the buy button for the longest time, walked away, had a beer, came back, thought some more, etc.

Sigh....well I did not need another brush, nor did I want to purchase the most expensive brush I have to date....but oh well, cant pass up the opportunity.

24mm x 48mm flat top on order, D01 two band of course.

Got my 22mm Flat Top D01 during the sale. It has quickly become my favorite Brush. Now i need another in size 24mm. Patiently waiting for the next sale.:001_tongu

I got a couple of the custom Dovo #41 straights and a stand. Thanks Bernd!!!

I also noticed that the exchange rate is getting much more favorable to though of us using the US dollar. There is still a small premium, but its much much smaller than the difference was last year. The devaluation of the Eruo is a shame for the Germans as they have been very responsible with their economy.

I for one am actually quite relieved I didn't see this until today. Okay, not really, but if I keep telling myself that over and over maybe I can convince myself it's true.

(Of course, ya'll did miss out on the free rider effect of not being able to reap it.)

What do you consider a newbie? I already have 3 of Bernd's masterpieces, and would like D01, and cartainly have ordered it if I had seen this sale!:glare:

His discount code was a 'thank you' for this; a lot of newbies -i.e., members from the last couple of months with virtually no posts- complained about not getting in on the discount, as though it were a typical, run of the mill sale being offered to any joe-schmoe. :glare: x2
