So i've bought a couple book in the last couple of days. I have the Nook app on my iphone, and computer along with the actual Nook. I can download these book on everthing but my Nook. It just says "Queued: Will Complete Shortly". Anyone resolved an issue like this? I have held the power button in for 20 sec to reboot it, I have taken the battery out. Nothing helps. I have emailed Barnes and Noble and the response i got was something like "Sorry for your problem, check out our Help desk to see if your problem is listed there" Got any suggestions?

Yea i did before and it gave me the advice about holding in the start button for 20 sec. If that don't work remove the battery. I told them this in the email but they still said to look at the help desk. Must be like an auto-reply or something. I googled "Nook, Queued :Will Complete Shortly" And it seems to be a common occurance but it fixed itself within hours. Mine is going on 2 days now. Guess i'll have to call them in the morning. I was just checking here to see if anyone has had this problem.

I had a problem with mine, took it back to Barnes and Noble, they looked at it and gave me a new one. Are you close to a store? Check out my signature line.

Yea, i've noticing you sashaying about the forum with that signature line :mad3:
Yea, i am pretty close but i've found out the problem. I read online where someone downloaded a firmware update for there wireless internet. I did that and nothing would still download so i live about a mile from a McDonalds which has free WiFi so me and the Nook took a little ride. Sure enough, once i got there my books started downloading. Now i need to write an apologetic email to B&N and tell them i'm an idiot it is my wireless router that's the problem.....Now to figure out what's wrong with that little bugger!! But going back to B&N was going to be my next move if that didn't work.
