What glue are you guys using to set your knots? I'm thinking of using either g5 or west system because I have both of those glues on hand from building pool cues.

I use regular epoxy from the Home Depot.

I use a 2 part epoxy. It's marine epoxy, but that is just a coincidence, as it was the only epoxy that took longer than 5 minutes to set. I wanted a longer set time so I had more time to adjust and make sure the knot was straight, clean off any that got where I don't want it, etc...

Araldite 2 part, five minute epoxy.

hmm....i know the epoxy i use is pretty spendy, didn't know the store bought brands would hold up. good to know, i can quit waisting my cue epoxy on brushes!!!

I use regular 2 part epoxy from Ace Hardware.

Either System 3 marine or more often 3 minute gel epoxy from the hardware store. I like em to set fast so nothing happens and so I can use them quickly. I use the System 3 when I am mixing in graphite to darken it for repairs or recoating a lucite handle pocket.
