It has been 15 months since I started DE shaving. It has been an interesting road. Along the way I found a few creams I like and worked on my technique.

In the beginning it seemed I was constantly adding copious amount of water droplets to my shaving bowl to get enough moisture to develop a lather. Slowly it dawned on me my brush would hold more water if I shook my brush more lightly instead of almost snapping it. Sure enough, I developed the feel I needed to get a great lather. Now I only need to add a drop, maybe two, to have enough moisture to whip up a great lather.

In the never-ending quest of experience, I discovered my travel brush has a completely different set of characteristics. The shake that gives me near perfections with my daily brush doesn't quite work with the travel brush. Still working on my technique for this one.

Still enamored with the never-ending quest of shaving pleasure. :001_tt1:

Creating good lather is a huge part of this lifestyle (oh yeah, it IS a lifestyle).
When you switch brushes, creams, soaps and bowls/scuttles often, you have to know how to compensate.
Good job. Keep it up.:thumbup1:

Learning how to get the best out of differing hardware or software, has been my biggest focus these days. It really is something to think about since razors, brushes, soaps, blades, and everything else are going to have different responses.
Thanks for the reminder.
Glad you have taken a step closer to shaving nirvana.
