I have a few items from my personal shave den that I would like to sell.
1) Vintage Rooney Beehive in Butterscotch
I picked this brush up off the B/S/T of another forum a couple of weeks ago. It is a beautiful brush but it is larger than I prefer. According to my Caliper, it has a 27mm knot, a 66mm loft and a 66mm handle height. It weights 125g. I would like $100.00 shipped CONUS which is exactly what I paid. The Rooney is Sold.
2) British Aristocrat #15 with Case Sold
I found this razor to be a bit more aggressive than I prefer so, here it is. I purchased the #15 Aristocrat for $160.00 but am selling it for $140.00 shipped CONUS. While the plating is shiney and the teeth are straight, it does have a few issues. There is a small ding and plating loss on one of the silo doors as seen in picture #3. In addition, the TTO action is a little stiff and the silo doors do not line up perfectly as you can see here (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=185246). That said, the TTO does lock down and the blade allignment appears even. I would rate the razor as being in good to very good condition and the case as being in fair condition considering the age.
