Need help with razor date code

Hi guys
I pulled out my old DE Gillette super adj. and checked the date code and it's W3 underneath. So I checked and the chart says 1951 3rd quarter. Is this right? The razor is a long handle (black)TTO with the 9 settings. Any help is appreciated

It's the later "W" year, 1976 Third Quarter.

Thanx, I checked the wiki and that's what I came up with as well. But it's still in good shape and shaves well. I think I may start looking around for some older DEs.

Good deal, the Super Adjustable gives a great shave. Watch out for the RAD - the older ones are the fun ones ..
