There's been a few threads on do-it-yourself light tents/boxes. However, one thing I didn't like about them (which is why I bought a collapsable one) is that they take up space and the tissue paper is easily ripped. A recent article on Strobist has an even better idea so long as your object is small (typical of our items here).
