View Full Version : Dollar Tree stores coming to Canada...
..hopefully they'll stock some decent shaving supplies like the US locations. Our Dollarama's have a pathetic shaving section with only one good product IMO (Generic twin blade TracII/Atra carts). I really hope these Dollar Tree's stock similar if not the same products they do in the US.

I haven't heard about this. SWMBO and I like the Dollarama. Yes, they have a small selection of shaving goods, but they have a wonderful selection of chocolate.

I've been to the dollar tree store by my house, I haven't seen any good stuff. At least the 99 cent store carries re-branded Personna DE Blades.

 True dat! ...I'd still give all those sweet treats up for a decent shaving section. I can live without Chocolate...but I must shave! :tongue_sm

Good luck, but the Dollar Trees around here don't stock anything worthwhile in the shave section. I hope you're not confusing it with Dollar General, they carry the Barbasol aftershaves, their brand of Trac II blades and a few other items.

The only things I found worthwhile at Dollar Tree for shaving are the dish towels I bough for doing Kyle's Prep.

You're probably right  ...but I'm still hoping. It can only be the same or an improvement over what we already have. :biggrin1:

There's a Dollar General about two minutes from me and I love it. They put stuff on clearance all the time. I also get my Yardley Lavender bars there.
Hopefully you can find some cheap shaving stuff, Den. :thumbup1:

Fully agree. Dollar Tree has a weird Hodge Podge of really cheap stuff.
In terms of shaving, they have the usual line of horrid cheap disposables, some knock off colognes (some of them really horrid), some funky smelling aftershave knock offs, and on occasion discontinued mainstream products (I once found bottles of Brut Revolution Aftershave for example).
For the most part, there is nothing at Dollar Tree worth buying from the shaving section.

Yah the Dollar Tree near me has only a pitiful shaving section. It may be about 4' wide and hold nothing but disposable blades and unknown goop in a can.
Now there chip rack in 3 times as big

It does have a decent tube of Shaving Gel from China generally.

I'm still sad that Dollar General doesn't seem to have any California stores. Dollar Tree only has crap, if that.

I have found nothing of value at my local dollar stores, not even worth a buck, but I'll keep going down the shaving aisle, holding out hope...
