I will be travelling in the US over the next few weeks. It seems like my normal supplier of Dutch rolling tobacco --- I prefer Samson bright blend -- has stopped selling it due to the abrupt rise in taxes.

Unfortunately I am arriving from Hong Kong, not Europe, and I do not have very much tobacco.

Is anyone still importing Dutch rolling tobacco?

Bali Shag Halfzware used to be good, but the name was bought by someone else, and it is no longer made in Denmark. It is terrible stuff now. Sampson is pretty available, as are the Stokebye blends (Amsterdam Shag). Drum is now American made, and it too sucks.

I found the Native American Spirit Original blend very good (the cyan package) and comparable, don't buy American Drum, it is nothing like the Dutch stuff.

Daughters and Ryan is still making excellent Halfzware and fullzware shags as well, but you'll probably half to go online to get 'em.
