Favorite cologne pairings with Almond soaps/creams

With many excellent Almond soaps and creams that many of us use, I am curios if any of you have any favorite colognes that you find pair well with this classic scent.

It will cost you a kidney, but Antico Caruso is a fantastic almond scent. One of the best scents in my collection. Profumum makes some potent scents and I like this one a lot.

One of the knocks on it is that it smells like Le Male. The first time you try it, the open smells similar, but I soon realized it's not like Le male at all. Very rich almond and sandalwood scent.

I can't imagine a better almond scent.

I am not currently using an almond soap (except for D.R. Harris) or cream. However, the almond cream I did use smelled mildly "spicy" to me. I would think that TOBS sandalwood edt/splash or D.R. Harris sandalwood splash would go well, as would a host of others in that vein.

One I've been wanting to try for a long time, and will probably eventually get around to, is Mazzolari Alessandro... it's supposed to have an almond theme.
