Merkur Futur release date

Has anyone know when was the first time this outstanding razor were released? I searched all over and I didn't find anywhere a production date. :blushing:

I thought I had seen somewhere it had been designed in the 70s, but in the Wiki the date is 1985. I can see that razor looking very futuristic in the 80s, but the truth is that the design still looks great today.
