How does the pen write?
Any reviews?

Gerald, it is made in China by Fuliwen and typically sells for around $10, and the Shakespeare motif adds some elegance. It is not a high end pen, nonetheless I find it writes well. It served well to reunite my own interest in slow writing. I am far from being an expert, however, based on feedback I'd characterize it as a good starter pen. Benton Clay acquired the inventory from an ebay seller who was getting out of the business, and the feedback on the pens was good in that people felt they were getting a good writing instrument for the money. I'm sort of feeling out whether these pens are a good fit with the Benton Clay brand (evolving, such as it is!).
With regard to reviews, I have seen some of the higher priced Fuliwen pens reviewed but not this particular line. If anyone can point to a link, I'd be grateful. I'd also consider sending a few out for review. Shoot me a PM if interested.

And as I received my shaving mug No. 1 today I will comment on that.....they are extremely well made and well thought out. My first shaving mug was a simple one from classic shaving that was way too deep and bulky but I continued to use it....until Benton ran the sale similar to what he is offering now 25% off, decided to give it a try out.
Basically, it has a nice color to it....ribs in the inside of the mug wall I assume are to aide some to keep the lather from climbing up. Has the right diameter for most soaps and isn't overly deep so if you own a chubby brush or something similar you won't have a problem there. The thumb loop and wide base fit my hand great and allows for a good secure grip.
The only minor gripe I would have is the color...its a nice color, but it doesn't go with anything I own...not to worry though, thats about my style...I own rosewood, medium oak, red oak, maple and walnut furniture so I dont get too wrapped up in matching anything.
I was also given a sample of the lavender shaving soap...I have not tried that yet, but the smell is really nice. So if you're in the market for a shaving mug dont hesitate as this is a good bargain for a well made piece!

I just placed an order. This will be my first ever fountain pen. I got a couple of soaps too, since I liked the lavender sample so much.
