Marco

Dear Santa Claus,
My name is Marco and I live in Rome, Italy. This year I’ve been very good with all fellow B&B members and I really do hope that the Moderators team can confirm you about this. I have already cleaned carefully my fireplace and put a soft pillow inside, preparing for you a nice, comfortable arrival at my home. If you look accurately you will also find a candy box with chocolate bars and homemade cookies, I suppose you should be hungry after your long journey from the North Pole. Also feel free to use my garage to park your sledge and allow your reindeers to rest before restarting your long trip around the World.
Now, dear Santa, I’d like to have for this Christmas some new shaving items.
Here is my wish list:
A Simpson Classic 2 Best shaving brush,
A DR Harris Arlington shaving soap in wooden bowl,
A DR Harris Arlington cologne,
A bulk pack of 100 Bolzano Superinox Inossidabile DE blades,
A Floid Mentolado Suave aftershave splash (I’d prefer the large 300 ml bottle…)
Thank you, Santa. And, of course, I promise to be as good as possible the next year to come and to support our wonderful Badger & Blade website in the best way I can.
Marco
P.S. Have you already written your letter to Santa Claus?

Very nice letter Marco,
I have asked SantaWMBO for a Simpson Colonel X2L. She has told me I have been a good husband this year so there isagood chance I will get my first badger brush :biggrin1:

Dear Santa,
I have also been good and played nice with all my fellow B&Bers...since you will be in Italy visiting Marco and delivering his goodies before making it my way would it be too much to ask to have you pick up some of the wonderful Italian shaving products for me? I would like a brick of Cella, a brick of P160 (I'm convinced you have some connections to make this one happen), Valobra menthol, Floid blue, and a nice Omega boar brush. My wife will have some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with milk awaiting your arrival. Thank you in advance!

Dear Santa,
I obviously don't have as many posts as the others, but you already know that, and I have looked covetously at the Acqusitions for the Month of.. threads, but you know that, and I have been envious of the fellow B&Bers who find NOS Presidents at yard sales (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=170619)and both types of toggles and bottom dial Fatboys in antique stores (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=175816) and most especially about fellow Aussies and their 'stainless steel' (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=167113)bargains, but of course you know that too.
OK Santa, so we both know I have DE envy on top of my RAD, and I've been a very bad boy this year. But I will leave beer out for you on Christmas Day like we always do because we know it is a long, thirsty trip Down Under and you are sick of that Egg Nog stuff. Do you ever feel sick with all that flying on a stomach full of Egg Nog, candy, chocolate and beer?
Anyway, maybe, just maybe, if your could, would you be so kind as to wipe off that credit card balance? PayPal really shouldn't let me pay for vintage razors with a credit card, it is not my fault! I'm sure you understand.
Well if you can't do that then Santa, could you find me a 1903 Double Ring?

Dear Santa Claus,
A Floid Mentolado Suave aftershave splash (I’d prefer the large 300 ml bottle…)
Marco, you may be going too far by requesting the 300ml bottle! :whistling:

Around this house, I am Santa.
I wrote myself a list, confirmed I met all "been good this year" specs, put the list into the elf ordering system and expect to be happily surprised on the wonderful morning of December 25.
yea me!

Dear Santa,
This may seem an unusual request but if have you have been following Badger and Blade you will certainly understand. Legend has it, if will excuse my saying so, that you are, shall we say, of extreme antiquity yourself. Perhaps you once shaved, long ago, as a young man, before growing the magnificent beard which has become such a signature part of your appearance.
Perhaps you, or one of the elves, could look around in the bathroom drawers and see if there might be any old razors there. . . Maybe an antique straight, with a well worn strop, or perhaps one of those lovely ornate early single edge EverReadys, or perhaps a nice badger brush.
Don't worry about cleaning them, I will take care of that.
Just think of it, you aren't using any of it and it would go to a good home; perhaps Mrs. Claus would be delighted to see those drawers cleaned out and reward you accordingly. It's a win for everyone.
Safe travels and I look forward to Christmas morning.
Best,
BowTieGuy

I ask Santa for a riding lawn mower every year but never get one. Apparently the excercise I get cutting my hilly back yard with a push mower is good for me. Bah, humbug.

I would have asked for a Red Rider BB Gun, but I know me, and I'd shoot my eye out.

Dear Santa:
I can vouch for Marco. He has been a good man - except for the fact that he keeps on posting items on this site that "make" me spend an awful lot of money. It seems that he writes about these wonderful Italian shaving products that appeal to my Italian heritage and, as a result, I don't have as much $$ this year to spend on my wife. :001_rolle

Dear Santa, Please bring me the following since I have been good all year.
-A gold tone Merkur 39"G"
-A years supply of DE blades much sharper than Feathers that will never irritate or nick
-An assortment of hard milled shaving soaps that easily lather in all hardness of water
-An invisibility cloak to hide my shaving stuff in (only invisible to SWMABOOE)
-A year of great shaves for everyone on B&B!

That is a very nice list Marco................ maybe you don't realise that by sharing the list, you now have no chance of receiving the items that you have requested?! :wink2:
I had a couple of items on my list and I ordered them (with my wife's blessings) last week. I'm not sure if I will be able to leave the package unopened until December 25th though?!

Dear Santa,
Could you please grant my fellow B&Bers all of their wishes and, for myself, could you get me a good job with good benefits so I can order a custom Shavemac D01 brush (fan shape for face lathering my soaps)?
Thanks and Happy Holidays.
