Me too. I'll pick up some Tabac Culture EDT while I'm at it.

Ahhh.... the beauty of the review system!!  Now we just gotta get EVERYTHING in there - and reviewed and we'll have one hell of a handy database!

I've not liked the stuff the few times that I sprayed it on...maybe I'll have to check again?

I bought this Blind along with the shave soap after reading the reviews here. I really do enjoy the fragrance and incredible value. I got the 10oz bottle for $16.50 via Amazon.com.
It goes perfectly with the shave soap.
Lucked out, even my wife likes it.

Do you have a link to the $16.50 on Amazon, I can't seem to find it for less than $22?
Thanks!

I picked it up about a month ago, the seller at Amazon was Fragrancenet.com their prices at Amazon were cheaper than the web-site prices. I searched through all the Tabac listings to find it.
Try again, however that may have been a sale price. I posted it then and they may have raised their price up after receiving many orders...:confused1

I saw this today as I was walking by a Mall Fragrance kiosk. Nice to know it's readily available if I get the urge to pick up some Tabac.. I was with the family so I didn't have time to check to see if they had a tester.
Just sayin'.. you might not think you'd see it in the mall next to the Mustangs, Polos and Addidas.. but there it was!

Tabac EDC is hard to beat. It is a very pleasant "old school" frag, lasts all day and cost effective. It is a marvel. I have heard that the EDT isn't the quality product that the EDC is but I haven't tried the EDT. Can anyone provide some insight on the topic.

Hard to beat Tabac EDC in terms of value and how good it smells. Definitely a love it or hate it, but if you like the scent of Tabac soap, the EDC is a dead-ringer for it. A little goes a long way, further extenuating it's value. I always put mine in an atomizer. A soapy, clean, old-school floral.

I have Tabac Original A/S splash and Tabac Original EDT. The two do not smell alike at all. Got the EDT in the blind because any EDT should last longer on the skin then cologne. The EDT comes out like a blast of bitters, then dries down to a soapy powdery smell, and it does last. My wife thought I smelled very nice after coming out of the bathroom in the morning. So I put a dab of aftershave on one arm and she said YES! Then I put the EDT on the other arm and she said ICK! I am waiting for QED, fragrancenet or scentiments to get the smaller size, spray cologne in stock.

Whoa, what mall was this?? I didn't know Tabac was available anywhere in the state, locally.

Is there anyway I can get a free sample of this from somewhere? I know the price is decent, but I don't have it to waste if I don't like the smell.

I don't know about the free samples, but I just picked up the large (10.1 oz.) size at perfumania for about $12.50. Hard to beat at that price (I bought 2).
I was given some Tabac for Christmas and love it. If I could describe it quickly, manly...leather, cigar and pipe smoke, well bound books...some spice, perhaps bay rum? Awesome stuff.

I restrained from buying the Tabac range through mixed reviews here, however, I simply adore the scent too.:001_wub:

I used Tabac cologne for the first time last week. The wife said "what's that stink.... It's not another one of your weird shaving soaps is it?" (yea she didn't say "smell" she said... stink).
I guess I won't tell her that I bought 2 bottles of EDC and 2 bottles of AS
Yikes..... what now :confused1
I like it but I am afraid to use it again :scared:

Problem with that is I will have to pack and ship and it is hard to get something past SWMBO.....
I was hoping to get a different reaction (grab hug, MMmmmm nice scent....)
I've used the AS a few times and no reaction from her... It was the EDC that stopped her in her tracks and I was still 6 feet away when she said something...
Totally flabbergasted. I may wait a week and try it again. If she still freaks, I will have to sell the unopened large bottle of EDC.

IIRC, the EdC has a totally different scent then the AS. I've not tried any of the Tabac line, but I do remember a thread recently that said they're all a bit different

You might want to wait a few weeks and try it again. If your SWMBO is anything like Mrs. daccpa, then her sniffer changes hourly. I am a fragrance fanatic myself and a month or so ago sprayed on Mugler Pure Havane, wifey sniffed and said "Mmmmm, what is that? It smells really good". The next day was her birthday and I wore it again for the special event, her reply "What is that your wearing, it smells like Old Man Pee and Patchouli".
I have officially given up on trying to find one that she likes. I just wear the ones I like and Tabac EDC is one of them.

I think I've smelled that one, I just didn't know it's name.
I agree, the Tabac EdT spray smells very different from the rest of the Tabac line of products. To me, the aftershave and the eau de cologne splash smell very similar to the shaving soap and cream. And the aftershave is very long lasting, longer than many other EdTs, and works well as a fragrance for the day. I also found that if I over apply, Mrs. Jakespoppy has a strong negative reaction to it, whereas otherwise its okay with her. Not great, but okay.

Just use it, I say. I have the cologne, not the EdT, so can't really comment on that smell.

Well, after some thought and a few samples I just pulled the trigger on Tabac shaving soap (in jar), aftershave/splash and colonge, along with some other goodies from WCS.
After all it's x-mass time.

I got a bottle of Tabac AS this month. Wish I had also ordered the cologne. I think the AS is my wife's favorite.

Don't get the EdT.... Get the EdC if you are going to get one.
On Italian Barber? I'm blind...I couldn't find it.

I agree. I've had a sample of both and the EdC was the real one for me. The EdT was a little too sweet for me. Also, respected others on here have agreed that the EdC is similar to the soap and AS, where the EdT - not so much.
