How DID this year go by so fast??? Anyone?? lol
But here we are.. and this month I am very aware that many of the shaving soaps i sell are going to be presents for friends and family.
The shaving soaps are 10% off list for the rest of the month and the wood bowls are 15% off.. and as always we will be happy to transfer your soap from the plastic tub to the wooden tub at no charge. We remove the label from the plastic tub and put it on the inside of the wooden tub lid so that there are no labels on the outside. This makes for a beautiful gift.
How to order them... simply specify wooden tub when you order the shave soap.. and we will take care of the rest.
This is a busy month for all of us.. I have to say tho that it is awefully nice to be here.. and I wish everyone the most wonderful of Holidays..
Bear Hugs,

(groan) I told myself that I wasn't going to buy anything else. But, I have said that before too! Those are very beautiful wooden bowls. I am going to have to break down and purchase at least one in a couple of weeks. Glad to see you back on here more often.

I really like the lid on the bowl! The labels were what was keeping me from placing an order, but these bowls just convinced me!
Thanks!

This has been one heck of a season.. my goodness, my head is spinning. Almost everything is out and on the way to everyone, but I have to say I am not sure what happened.. and it's in a good way, but Wow! Someone mentioned in a post that they didn't consider me to be an artisan soaper.. right now, I don't feel like one.. I feel like an enormous success.. but I am missing out so much on the day to day talking to people and helping folks out and learning from every email I get... There were a couple of weeks there that I felt like a business... and nothing else.. and it was a hard thing for me. I miss the one on one contact that I used to have.. but only having one vendor post a month means a lack of personal contact for me.. I don't know whether to push for growth so i can afford to be on here more often.. or pull away so it doesn't hurt that I don't have the personal contact as much anymore. I am coming to a crossroads it seems and don't want to take either path.
There have been a LOT of orders that went out in wooden tubs this December.. but it was the same way last year.. The tubs make a good soap into a beautiful gift.. and this is the month for beautiful gifts.. I am going to have more joy on Christmas Day knowing there are gentlemen getting good soaps in a beautiful presentation.. there is a lot of love in those special orders.. from all of us....
I have a LOT of left over plastic tubs however.. and will have to throw them out.. but if anyoen has a use for them please let me know, I will send them out postage paid, just so that they can find good homes. Obviously they can't be resold.. but it kills me to just throw them away. So, if you have a soap that needs a container with a lid, please let me know.. I will send you one at no cost.
Meanwhile, All of my love and my best wishes for a fantastic Christmas and Hannukah to all of you.. God Bless and Bear Hugs, Sue

I love the wooden bowls, but I have even ordered the empty plastic tubs just to melt my MB samples soaps into. If you are going to be forced to throw them out, sign me up for the bowl rescue project! :w00t: I still have way too many MB samples that are waiting for others to be used up so they can get a try!
Absolutely great to hear that business has been so good for you lately, Sue!! :thumbup1: Merry Christmas!

You're the best, Sue, thanks again!
I would encourage any other B&Bers to take Sue up on this offer if she still has other tubs left. These are great, sturdy tubs that are perfect for melting MB's generously-sized samples into. A few quick seconds in the microwave will cover the bottom of the tub & yield enough soap for at least 3-4 shaves.

If you have any left I would be happy to take a few of the plastic bowls.
I am just getting started with DE shaving and just recently found you site, otherwise I might have mentioned some of you soaps when my wife asked for Christmas present ideas. I just bought a bunch of presents myself so I might have to wait until next week, but I have to get an order in for at least one of your soaps before the sale ends. The pipe tobacco caught my eye and I will have to try it or maybe the Beau Brummel eventually. But I will probably get either one of the sandalwoods or the dragon's blood first. I am leaning towards getting the mysore as it sounds like the more robust smell I am used to with sandalwood incense. Would you say that is accurate?

I am out of bowls.. I can't believe it. Thanks! I will never throw them away again, I promise! I will let you know when I get some more in but you can always check with me.
Regarding the Sandalwood.. MANY people are dissapointed with my Mysore Sandalwood fragrance... unfortunately it smells exactly like the real thing.. and most people don't want that, they want the synthetic scent that they are used to. I also adore the pipe tobacco.. but it's a cherry vanilla tobacco scent, not just tobacco. Be careful with the Beau Brummel and the Dragon's blood.. both of them have caused irritation to gentlemen in the past. I will probably be discontinuing the Beau Brummel in the near future.
Merry Christmas to everyone and Blessings to all!!!
Bear hugs

I may still be tempted to try the Mysore. I do tend to like very rough scents. Either way I will probably run my ideas by the wife and put in an order soon.
I don't have particularly sensitive skin so I might try the Beau Brummel when it goes on sale.

this worked out well.. the tubs are being reused.. and my guilt is assuaged (I hate throwing plastic containers away) and I actually ran out... Vicki who ships for had told me the growing pile of tubs was a problem, but she ended up throwing them out. In the future if you want an empty tub.. when you place an order let me know how many you want and I will add them to the order at no charge. I don't want to put this on the website, so this will be a Badger and Blade thing only for a time.. until I see where it goes... for right now.. I am very happy, Thank you ALL :thumbup1:
