Many people emailed us asking for the Lama Bolzano double edge blades. My partner was able to locate a bunch and they are en-route to us. They should be here in the next few days. I believe we should be able to offer the best price in North America.:thumbup1:

Our shipment from OSMA labs is also scheduled to arrive in the next few days. We are getting a large load of OSMA alum blocks and these will also be priced at the best price in North America. I refuse to be beat on price if I can help it.:001_smile

As many of you already know (thanks for your business), our store Italianbarber.com is now well stocked with some of the best products from Italy. We will continue to expand on this inventory and it's our goal to have all the best products from Italy at the best possible prices. I'm very passionate about Italian wet-shaving, personal care and fragrance products and I'm looking forward to serving customers who also share my passion.

We have some "Italy only" products at really low prices... check out our prices on the Proraso Shaving Cream 500g Barbershop tube... http://www.italianbarber.com/p74-Proraso-Shave-Cream-500g-Tube.html

and also the Pre/Post Cream in 500gr Barbershop tub... http://www.italianbarber.com/p75-Proraso-Pre-Post-Cream-500g-Jar.html

For the people that have emailed about Blue Floid After shave... We only got a few dozen of these and they are already almost half gone. In the future we may be offering decants if we can locate the right bottles and get enough inventory.

A great product that I used for the first time recently and I really enjoy is the Floid Sandolor Pre-shave. I think all you lovers of Blue Floid will really enjoy this pre-shave lotion; it's is quite different than any other pre-shave product on the market and it offers at great value for the price; 200ml in a great looking tube... http://www.italianbarber.com/p81-Floid-Sandolor-Pre-Shave-Gel-200ml.html

You will notice that we now carry the entire Prep line of products, I think some of the prices are half that of other online vendors... http://www.italianbarber.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=prep&osCsid=505b3fa30bb45d5e60827e92098a9d8f&search.x=0&search.y=0

I saw threads lately talking about 3P Cream. We also got this in-stock. It's personally one of my favorite pre-shave products.

Your guys slaughtered our inventory of P.160 Morbido and we are almost out. We have started to cut up some bricks (because people were asking for smaller portions); 125g pieces for $7.99, 250g for $14.99 (weights are approximate, each brick is cut in 8 "visually" equal pieces); these come packaged in brand-new, snap-lid, food-safe plastic containers. We are looking at buying another load from a Barber supply shop in Italy but it may end up costing us substantially more because of "middle-man" pricing and increased ex-works shipping expense... I will update you guys when I have more information.

In the next weeks and months we will get another load from Italy; I'm sure the product offerings will continue to make the lovers of Italy products very happy. Thanks for your continued support.

Nice! :thumbup1:

You have probably already fielded this question, so sorry if I missed it, but are you getting the orange Floid as well?

Guys, my split-it experiment with P.160 worked nice. A kilo is a lot, but if you buy 2 you get it shipped free, and there's lots of guys that don't mind paying a bit more for their portion to get a third. Frankly even a sixth is a nice chunk of soap. FWIW, my selling a third of a brick at $18 lost me a bit, so I think the break even point is $20.

Yes, they were back-ordered on the last shipment and we didn't want to wait. Most likely they'll be on the next shipment from Italia.

Hi Fritz,

Thanks for your question.

The Tabac shave stick doesn't seem to be a great seller for us. It seems all our customers want the "Italian stuff" and don't like putting Tabac in their shopping cart. We will continue to sell the Tabac shave stick for now but I'm not sure I'll bring in the rest of the line unless I see the sticks moving a bit.

kind regards,

Joseph

Hi Joe,

What about the white Proraso range? The soap and the pre/post are fantastic, though there is no shaving cream version. Do you have any plan on stocking these?

I completed my order a few days ago and I'd like to indicate to everyone what a gentleman Joe is. We've had numerous back and forth e-mails and I don't think it could have been a better, more professional process. For those of you who haven't ordered anything yet, you owe it to yourself to do so.

My only problem is I blew my annual shaving cream budget in one felled swoop.

Definitely:thumbup:, the white jar pre/post is one of my personal favorites, it will be included in our next bulk order from Italy which should arrive in the next 6-8 weeks.

I don't even know if it's possible, but have you inquired about either Domenico Caraceni 1913 or Acqua di Parma?

I think these might be brands that show up at high end deparmtment stores? My husband has mentioned them, and I'm trying to round out the Christmas shopping for him.

Great question:thumbup1:

We are working feverishly to get these two brands, as well as Santa Maria Novella, Acca Kappa, and Lorenzo Villoresi (as well as a few surprises).

These premium brands are not easy to get. The companies usually demand they be sold in well-established Luxury B&M stores; most of these companies aren't too warm to internet retailers. That said, when myself and my partner put our minds together, we can usually come up with a solution. Worst case scenario I will fly to Italy myself and fill-up a few luggages.:001_smile

Acqua di Parma is the only product I have ever smelled that made me want to pay what they are asking for shaving cream.

Hey, Joe... with your recent massive product expansion (which, I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say, is awesome) I would like to humbly suggest you make a "just arrived" section on your website, so that people can see what products you just stocked with a single click. Some other vendor sites have this, and it is a really easy way for a customer to find out what is new.

I noticed there is a "latest products" link, but it only seems to show 1 item at a time.

I ordered a Kilo of P160 and some other assorted joys the other day, and the delivery was super fast. I am thrilled to have another Canadian source for shaving supplies. SWMBO has imposed a pre-christmas embargo, but you can expect my business again soon.

Just a quick update for this week...

Our OSMA shipment arrived and we added 3 new items...

Their styptic pencil which is the best quality styptic I've laid eyes on. $3.99

Their 75gr Alum blocks; I believe we are the lowest price on the street by at least 20%; please let me know if I'm mis-informed, $7.99

Their Shaving Soap, which I've been testing for two months now. I'm impressed with the results and alum in the formula seems to really stop weepers and small nicks. It has a very refreshing citrus-y scent. I think we are also the lowest price on the street by at least 15%, $14.99
